Digital Marketing Specialist
Overview: The Digital Marketing Specialist will provide direct support to our Digital Marketing Consultants and end-customers through a variety of skills and responsibilities. Location: This is a long-term, work-from-home position; however, post-Covid, one should have availability to work in-person with team occasionally at the request of management. Candidates that live within 60 miles of Canfield, OH, are preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Help manage and deliver tasks for existing support plan customers, as well as the opportunity to work on new projects from inception to completion
- Accumulate and maintain knowledge on customer business objectives and goals, industry landscape, and target markets to share with internal TBG Digital Marketing team and assist in developing a solid, ongoing Digital Marketing strategy
- Maintain project timeline(s), keep up-to-date task list for deliverables and other open items, and provide reports internally and to end-clients
- Adhere to and help advance agency processes and procedures through use of checklists, project management systems, CRM profiles, etc.
- Conduct routine team conference calls with TBG consultants and attend or facilitate calls directly with clients
- Create, edit, and maintain content on website(s) and additional web properties utilizing a Content Management System (WordPress) or other platform
- Create, edit, and maintain social media strategy for clients
- Create and edit various graphics (ads, social images, web banners, etc.) using graphic design skills
- Create and edit videos using video editing skills
- Maintain accurate records in timekeeping system, updated weekly and/or prior to team meetings
- Stay on top of Internet Marketing trends and best practices with a heavy focus on search engine optimization
- Maintain up-to-date certifications/training on identified platforms
- Oversee special projects as assigned
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required; preference given to candidates that majored in multimedia, marketing, or related program
- 2-3 years proven work experience at a Digital Marketing agency
- Access to reliable, high-speed internet
- Required experience working with:
- Windows Office
- WordPress
- HubSpot
- Social Platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Preferred experience working with:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Google Analytics
Qualifications and Skills
- Self-motivated, yet customer-focused
- Creating and maintaining client relationships
- Proficient in project management
- Exceptional writing skills with previous experience writing and editing online content
- Graphic design and editing skills to develop site content and other needed graphics
- Highly organized and goal-driven to handle working on multiple accounts and short timelines, with the self-motivation to work from home
- A solid understanding of digital marketing and how it can help a business grow
- Comfortable coordinating with and providing direction to other team members in remote locations, and act as a team player to support the organization as a whole
